Share a custom domain with your team

Let editors put team links on go.yourbrand.com without handing them your DNS. One toggle on a verified domain.

The owner verifies a custom domain once (the TXT + CNAME dance from the "Set up a custom domain" guide). Sharing it with the team means editors can pick that domain when they create links, while DNS ownership and the verification token stay with you. Shared domains live alongside per-plan domain caps - Team holds 3, Agency 15 - and any of them can be shared.

Step 1: Verify the domain (owner only)

Settings → Custom domain → add and verify go.yourbrand.com as usual. Only a verified, live domain can be shared; you can't share one that's still provisioning.

Step 2: Share it with the workspace

  • Dashboard → Team → Domains (or the Shared toggle on the domain card under Settings → Custom domain).
  • Flip Share with team on for the domain.
  • It now appears in the domain picker for every editor on the team.

Step 3: Editors put links on it

When an editor creates or edits a team link, the shared domain shows up in the same domain picker they'd use for blnq.it. They pick it; the short link, copy button, and QR all switch to go.yourbrand.com. They never see DNS settings or the verification token - those stay with the owner.

Un-sharing or removing

  • Toggle Share with team off and editors lose it from their picker. Links already on the domain keep working - it's still your verified domain.
  • Remove the domain entirely (owner) and its links fall back to blnq.it, exactly as for a personal domain.
  • Viewers never get the domain picker; they're read-only.
