Email notifications: pick what lands
Spike alerts, first clicks, milestones, weekly digest, broken links. Turn each on or off per account.
BlinkLink sends a handful of transactional emails. Every one of them is opt-in or opt-out from a single page; we never sneak something past you.
Where to toggle them
Settings → Notifications. Each alert has its own switch and a one-line hint about when it fires.
What each alert does
- Spike in clicks: when a link gets 5× its usual hourly traffic. Default on.
- Spike in QR scans: same 5× logic, scans only. Default off.
- First click: tiny celebration when a brand-new link gets its first visitor. Default on.
- Milestones: 100 / 1k / 10k clicks on any link. Email includes a CTA into the recap modal so you can post it to stories. Default off.
- Link about to expire: 24h heads-up for links with an expiry set. Default off.
- Link broke: health-checker emails you the moment a destination stops responding. Default on.
- Inactive link: 30-day no-click warning. Default off.
- Campaign goal hit (Pro): when a campaign passes the click target you set.
- Weekly target missed (Pro): heads-up if your weekly clicks fall short.
Weekly digest
- Sent every Monday around 9am UTC.
- Summarises last week's total clicks + scans, top links, and any milestone you crossed.
- Free shows the headline numbers; Pro adds the top countries + spike events.
- Toggle on Settings → Notifications → Weekly digest.
Marketing email
There's a separate Product updates toggle; we email maybe once a month with what shipped. Always opt-in (default off). Toggle wherever you want.
Deliverability
All our emails ship through Resend (transactional) with SPF + DKIM + DMARC properly set. If they're landing in your spam folder, mark one as not-spam and the next ones should arrive in the inbox.
