Create your first link

Paste a URL, get a bnkl.me/<something> short link plus a QR. Two ways to do it; same result.

There are two front doors to BlinkLink. Both produce the same row in the same database. Pick whichever's closer to your fingertips.

From the homepage

  • Open bnkl.me.
  • Paste a long URL into the box.
  • Hit Blink it. You'll see a short URL, a QR code, and a Copy button.
  • Drag the URL into a tab, scan the QR with your phone, or copy it to a message. Any of those things work.

Signed-out users get the link too, but it only works for 7 days (and you can make 2 that way). Signing up free extends your links to 30 days and lets you see who scanned them; Pro removes the expiry entirely.

From the dashboard

  • Open Dashboard → All links → + New link (top right).
  • Paste the destination URL.
  • (Optional) Pick a custom slug. Something like "spring-drop" reads better than the random one.
  • (Optional) Add a friendly title. Shown in your dashboard and in notification emails. Visitors never see it.
  • Hit Save.

What you can do with the link next

  • Copy the short URL with the icon next to the slug.
  • Tap Edit to add a password, schedule a launch, change the destination. See the Link features section in this guides index.
  • Tap the ⋯ menu to see click history, share to recap stories, or delete the link.

Every link comes with a free QR. You're already done, but if you want the QR to look like it belongs to your brand, the next guide is for you.
